Nobody explicitly. I was the check, apparently. Shift lead is helping me fix the handover.

I'd keep interrupted work out of the ordinary empty-pocket instruction, because somebody needs to establish where the sleeve is and what the job last confirmed before deciding how to recover; I can't give you that decision from a tray count.

That caught a reversed pocket sketch. Corrected, then tried again: cover operator matched the tray, recognised the planned empty ending and sent the interrupted example to the named lead without guessing. The revised handover has been accepted for this job. Thanks, Louis.
