UR5e puck unloading loses squareness while the point file keeps changing

Our puck grips get another coordinate nudge whenever unloading becomes unreliable. Tray looks unchanged, but that isn't a measured location. What should maintenance inspect before we blame the UR5e? Or rather, before the latest tweak hides whichever physical change started this?

Compare the puck's seat before contact and watch when the lean begins; then inspect against the intended tray and jaw references.

The puck is already tilted in the affected pocket before the fingers arrive. Current point file retained. We haven't yet compared a known puck in another pocket under the same conditions.

Start that comparison with the same identified puck. Pre-contact tilt points toward presentation, but keep the tool inspection in scope because later contact damage could coexist with the original problem.

Maintenance found a thin packing strip trapped beneath the affected pocket insert. They've recorded it before removal and are checking the insert mounting and the tool contacts. No offset change proposed.

Find how the strip entered the setup as well. Was it part of transport packing, a service aid, or an intentional spacer someone used without updating the assembly record? The response should fit the actual finding.

Confirmed transport packing left during a replacement insert job, not a specified spacer. Removed under the maintenance procedure; the insert now seats correctly. Tool contacts checked without damage, and the point edits are with controls for review.

That explains the observed tilt, not yet the restored handling performance. Check the selected program with the corrected setup before return to use.

Keep the packing finding in the replacement instruction, Mei. The planned handling check remains outstanding in this thread; a correctly seated insert and an available program copy do not by themselves complete it.
