Which open-door position belongs in our FR10 exchange review?

Our FR10 steel-blank exchange review needs the complete gripper through loading and withdrawal. I have two photographs of the machine with different door openings. The wider one came from a maintenance visit. Which position should the integrator use before the reach sketch becomes a layout decision?

Have the machine owner identify the normal operating door position and its full envelope, then use that with the complete held tool and empty return rather than choosing the more generous photograph.

I have asked the machine owner to mark the normal position. Neither photograph was supplied as a dimensional survey. Tool designer is also completing the adapter and rear connection details.

The maintenance photo could be perfectly honest and still be the wrong space to buy around. Ours once showed a removable panel off the machine. Lovely access, provided nobody wanted the normal machine back afterwards.

Machine owner confirmed the wider opening required a maintenance-only arrangement. Survey now records the normal opening and the fixed obstructions. That is the version in the combined model.

Does the model include the connected services, or only the metal fittings added to the tool drawing? The normal door opening may leave a different constraint for the hose departure.

Who is reviewing the setter's fixture-change route against that same model? It should not remain attached only to the wider-opening photograph.

And don't let maintenance inherit a tool they can't remove. That can be awkward even with plenty of space for the normal cycle.

Ella, connected services are included. Nadia, setter and maintenance are reviewing the normal-opening model with the integrator. Original nearer position fails withdrawal; a farther position is being checked as a complete alternative.

Keep the intended grip and its permitted variation in that farther-position check, so moving the base does not quietly become a different blank placement inside the fingers as well.

Has the farther position kept the fixture-change route available?

Interested in that too. Farther from the door can mean nearer the trolley, which is how our first apparently easy fix acquired a second problem.

Yes. The complete review accepted the farther position for the defined tool, grip range and normal door opening, including empty return, fixture change and tool-removal access. We selected that layout for detailed design. The maintenance photograph is excluded as an operating reference.
