the rotated carton row has no support review

For this FR10 pallet layout I have an alternating pattern that fits our component cases but leaves gaps beneath their preferred support edges; can packaging and tooling review one shared section through the stack?

They can start there, but I would show more than one section. One nice slice might miss the worst unsupported corner.

The unsupported positions are in the rotated row, and the drawing currently has only a plan view of each layer.

Ask for the filled-case support requirements first. Your overlay can show a gap accurately without telling anybody how much unsupported span that particular carton can tolerate.

Has anyone actually tested that packed case across the proposed gap?

No, Ada, the layout was made from external dimensions and a preferred orientation note, not a support test.

Then it is an unverified pattern, not evidence the cases will fail. I would keep that distinction when asking packaging for help.

Nina, agreed. I'd send the actual loaded-case construction too; a stronger-looking empty carton isn't necessarily representative of Emma's component case.

Packaging has requested filled samples and the support-edge overlay, so I've held the pattern decision while we arrange those.

Who is checking whether the tool can leave the last position after the neighbouring cartons are already there?

The tool designer will review the placement order, Mina, but they haven't received the revised overlay yet.

Send the same revision when it's ready; a plan to review isn't the review, particularly if the row changes

I would like to hear what packaging finds with the filled cases. We spend lots of time arguing about gaps without knowing how the actual contents bear on them.
