I went back through our shortage list and realised the seller now answers only about the extra tool cable. The mounting bits disappeared from the conversation. Installed cable is here, spare kit isn't, and next shipment is still the answer. How do I stop a possible cable parcel being treated as the whole kit?
Ask them to confirm each outstanding line, including whether it is available to pack. One parcel can contain several lines, but a promise about one line cannot close the others.
They've acknowledged the full list. Cable available, mounting bits awaiting supply. They offer to send the cable alone. That is at least a real choice instead of another vague shipment.
I'd take the cable separately if the dispatch terms make sense. Waiting for the small bits doesn't make the spare cable more useful. But don't let split supply become a second unexplained freight charge.
Reece, correct quoted reference confirmed. Nadia, stores will receive it against the open lines. I've asked the seller to state freight for the separate cable before agreeing.
The mounting items need their own next answer too. Ask whether the seller is obtaining the ordered parts or proposing substitutes (those would need a separate review).
Separate cable freight is included, and seller confirms the ordered mounting items are still being sourced. I've accepted the split dispatch. No parcel reference yet, so nothing marked sent.
Jack, thanks for posting the freight answer. That makes the separate cable route understandable without us inventing either a free shipment or an extra bill.
Label reference arrived. Carrier has not recorded collection. The open list now shows cable dispatch arranged and mounting items awaiting supply. It's less satisfying than kit on its way, but rather more useful to stores.
