How does pieces explain fourteen incomplete FR10 finger-set kits?

Our FR10 is already here; this was a separate order for 98 matched accessory kits, each containing a gripper finger set. We received 84 complete sets in the sealed outer box. The seller now says the quantity means pieces, although the invoice says kit and the final message lists contents per kit.

Have you counted the individual fingers as well as matched sets, and checked the other kit contents? Would make the shortage harder to blur into a unit argument.

168 individual fingers, forming 84 of the specified pairs. Other kit contents match the agreed quantities. Fourteen kits are incomplete. I've sent both counts beside the final per-kit message, so nobody needs to guess what we mean by set.

Ask them to supply fourteen matched sets, not fourteen loose fingers.

They've accepted that correction and offered fourteen matched sets, with both finger references listed. No additional charge or carriage. The parcel is being prepared; we haven't received collection evidence yet.

Will receiving keep them against the fourteen incomplete kits, rather than book them as fourteen new kits?

Yes, the receiving note already does that. We'll compare the paired references before completing those kits in stock. Preparation is the latest confirmed supply stage, not dispatch.

Good. The replacement count now matches the shortage without pretending the parcel is already in stores.
