Our proposed FR5 stand is in the setter's fixture-removal space

Setter has marked the removal route with the machine owner. The proposed stand overlaps it. Supplier asks whether a different approach angle from the same stand would solve the problem.

Not if the problem is the stand physically occupying the removal route. A different arm approach might solve a tool collision, but it doesn't move the stand out of the setter's way. I'd send them the marked floor view.

Sent. To be fair, their question came before they saw the setter's marked view. They're now comparing a farther position, with the full tool and door still to be added.

Does farther put the stand in anybody else's working space?

And keep both loaded and empty movements in the tool assessment if that position survives the floor review. Solving the setter overlap would make it another candidate, not settle the FR5's access.

Henry's question is a cheap one to answer first. No point paying for a lovely complete tool model at a position you already know the maintenance person can't live with.

Farther position is in the required cabinet-service area. Machine owner has checked that requirement, so it isn't just somebody preferring more room. Neither of these two positions works for the people using the cell.

Any other position in the agreed area?

None we're prepared to develop within this scope. We've stopped this purchase proposal and kept the marked layout with the reasons. Not a verdict that an FR5 could never do it; this cell arrangement is the wrong fit for us.

I would retain those two rejected positions when another proposal turns up. It is surprisingly easy for a fresh sales drawing to rediscover the same empty-looking floor space once the setter's notes are no longer beside it.
