Reply to discussion We've saved three pickup corrections. New housings still lean in the source fixture before our FR10 grips them.
15 replies Check why they're leaning there first. Compare an identified new housing with retained accepted stock on the intended fixture contacts. The robot hasn't had its turn yet.
18 pointsRetained housing sits flat. Two new ones catch near the same rear corner.
9 pointsHave quality compare that housing edge with the drawing, and tooling check what it is touching in the fixture; the corner may be exposing a part difference or an unwanted fixture contact.
19 pointsDid the new housings arrive under the same part reference?
17 pointsSame delivery reference. Quality has kept those two and a seated example from the new delivery.
7 pointsSame reference on a box doesn't settle the moulded shape. Has anyone checked the actual rear edge yet?
7 pointsBeth, that's already with quality. Ada, keep the original point set with this comparison as well as the corrections; someone will need to untangle them when the seating is right.
17 pointsQuality found excess material at that edge on the two awkward housings. Fixture contacts match their drawing.
6 pointsLet quality decide the stock disposition against the requirement; do not teach the pickup around an edge they have already found suspect.
17 pointsIs the seated new housing acceptable, or merely easier to load?
18 pointsAnd where are the suspect ones now? Our useful samples have a habit of joining the next tray.
19 pointsBeth, quality accepted the seated example. Louis, suspect delivery is held and marked, with the samples retained separately.
7 pointsReviewed original setup passed the full transfer with accepted retained and new examples. The three compensations aren't being carried forward.
3 pointsThank you, Anna. Supplier has the edge findings; replacement stock hasn't arrived, so the delivery issue remains open.
16 pointsUseful split result. Make sure the incoming check can find that edge issue again; the next good-looking box will still have the same reference on it.
