Our Fairino FR5 package from an unnamed seller in China is here with the main hardware matching our order. The promised spare kit is missing, including an extra pendant cable; the installed one is present.
I've had 53 days of 'next shipment' replies with no parcel reference. We're planning transferring small housings, and I want the missing kit dealt with.
Does the final order confirmation explicitly include an additional pendant cable? Comparing that wording with your inventory would distinguish the promised spare from the installed component.
@FarahChan1113 Yes, the final seller message names the extra pendant cable. I've checked the packaging and accessory list. We've the normal setup components, but no spare kit.
Use the confirmed spare commitment and received inventory to ask for its part code and dispatch status. A dispatched kit should also have a transport reference they can identify.
Am I giving this too much attention when the main package is here? The seller's wording makes the spare feel like an optional favour rather than part of our agreement.
@JuliaAdams0152 On a different accessory purchase of mine, I described the spare as an outstanding order item. That kept the request proportionate to what had actually been omitted.
An outstanding spare-kit item is an accurate description. With the main package complete, the missing spare shouldn't affect your plans for transferring small housings.
@FarahChan1113 Completeness of the main hardware doesn't establish the effect on their operating plans. Spare availability may still be relevant to the maintenance arrangements they've made.
@HarishAbbott0054 I overstated the operational conclusion. The inventory establishes that the installed component is present; your maintenance needs determine how the absent spare affects planning.
What I need is enough information to decide our spare provision. An indefinite promise of inclusion in another shipment doesn't let me settle that plan.
@JuliaAdams0152 Have the seller identify the shipment referenced in that promise. Until they explain whether it's booked and which order it serves, the phrase doesn't specify a completion arrangement.
