I cannot choose a spare-cable credit without a replacement price

Our UR5e's installed pendant cable is correct, but the missing additional cable now has a credit offer attached; I want to compare that offer with identified replacement supply rather than agree it just to end the next-shipment emails.

Get the full replacement cost and availability against the exact cable identity, including delivery, before accepting the credit.

Our maintenance contact has identified the cable and is obtaining a local quote; the seller's offer would close only the extra-cable line, leaving another small spare outstanding.

Keep that other spare explicit. My adapter-credit discussion needed two separate balances because settling the adapter did nothing to supply the remaining kit item.

Ask the local source whether that quoted cable is physically available. We've had a tidy price turn out to describe stock they hoped to obtain, which would leave you choosing between two waiting lists.

Does the local quote name the same complete cable assembly, including the connectors, or is it based on the short description from the spare list?

Toby, maintenance supplied the full reference and the local source confirmed the complete assembly; Alex, they have stock, and the delivered cost exceeds the seller's proposed credit.

Send that difference back with the quote. You have a specific basis for asking them to improve the credit, while separate supply remains another option.

Rosa, yes, but I'd compare the remaining delay too. Farah may decide the extra cost is worth it; the credit doesn't have to win on price alone to be a sensible choice.

Liam, our maintenance lead prefers identified local stock at the known extra cost; purchasing is asking the seller to improve the credit before choosing, without treating the other missing spare as settled.

That sounds like an actual choice now. Is the local quote held long enough for purchasing to get the seller's answer?

Purchasing has confirmed the local availability again and received a higher credit offer from the seller, still slightly below replacement cost; they are deciding on that stated difference.

Who checks and books the cable into spare stock when it arrives? The fitted cable should stay on its existing record.

Stores owns receipt with maintenance checking the reference; purchasing has accepted the revised credit terms and ordered local supply, but neither the credit nor the cable has arrived yet.

Keep both receipts outstanding in the order account, plus the other spare. That will let the next person close the actual transactions instead of the whole promise at once.
