I have kept our substituted UR5e gripper adapter uninstalled and asked the seller to identify both assemblies against the agreed lightweight-part trial; it keeps returning the original successful video, so how can the delivered arrangement be accepted without assessing its actual holding, clearance and release?

It needs its own application comparison. Request the delivered assembly with your samples and destination, not another original-trial replay.
