The concept drawing shows support fingers underneath. The sheet was added later by packaging, so no drawing currently shows both. I have asked for the combined section view.

That section should show release and finger withdrawal too, because holding a carton above a sheet isn't the same as leaving it there.

And the sheet specification matters, thanks for raising that, a symbol in the pallet drawing doesn't define what stores will buy.

We mocked up a proposed pack on the bench and found the tooling assumption immediately. Ask for a static tool-and-sheet review before paying for a full motion trial.

Use representative packed cartons in that review, not just empty boxes whose bases flex quite differently.

The combined view shows the withdrawal problem. Tool supplier is proposing a different contact concept; packaging has not accepted that or confirmed the sheet support arrangement yet.

Keep the sheet handler in the proposal review too. Or the manual sheet placement task, if that's the plan. It still needs an owner and workable access

Manual sheet placement is currently proposed, with a reviewed stopped-state access procedure still to be developed. I have asked for that work and the revised tooling trial in the quote.

Will the revised quote also state the pallet pattern it covers? Sounds as though the original tidy layer drawing is now several assumptions behind the actual proposal.
