Our UR5e budget buys hardware and borrows my colleague

I priced a UR5e and gripper for enclosure loading. My colleague would prepare fixtures and cover interruptions, apparently for free. We need a pilot scope that includes that work.

What does your colleague want improved in the present job? Agree that before pricing a pilot, then include fixture preparation, normal attendance, changeovers and support alongside the hardware. Otherwise you are comparing a purchase with an imaginary working day.

Less repetitive reaching was their priority. We compared a changed manual tray position first; it reduced that reach without adding preparation. The robot pilot is deferred for this workload. Thanks for asking the question we skipped.
