I cannot approve another UR5e spacer offset while the grip keeps leaning

Our supervised UR5e bench keeps acquiring pickup tweaks for rigid spacer blocks moving from tray to fixture, and the grip looks less square even though the tray looks stationary; I want to inspect the actual setup before another saved point persuades us the problem has gone away.

Save the current program and gather the edit history. Then ask maintenance to inspect the tray locating surfaces, fitted tooling and contact condition under proper isolation. Identify the blocks and trays used for comparison so a different sample does not become an invisible second change.

I once missed a raised underside edge. Does your block sit flat before the grip closes?

Establish that from a safe external observation or the approved isolated inspection, not somebody steadying the block during motion.

The external view starts after contact, Oscar, so it doesn't answer that yet; we've preserved the program versions and arranged maintenance's inspection with an identified block and tray.

Have the two shifts identified which version they actually use, rather than which version they believe is the latest?

They were using different saved versions, Elena, so that's now explicit; maintenance also found the block rocks in one tray pocket before closure, with a raised area on that pocket's locating surface.

Keep the version discrepancy separate from the physical finding. Correcting the pocket may remove a presentation problem while leaving offsets in either program that still need review against the restored setup.

The affected pocket insert has been replaced to its specified arrangement, with the removed one retained and photographed; the programmer is comparing both saved versions before choosing the return-check version.

Did the same block sit flat after replacement?

Yes, that identified block sits flat in the inspected pocket now, but the supervised transfer checks are still pending; nobody has reinstated a favourite old program on the strength of the bench seating result alone.

Put the chosen version and the pending checks in the shared shift record when they are settled, because the mechanical repair has not yet resolved which job either shift should run.
