List the fitted adapter separately from the outstanding spare, with the agreed reference and the seller's latest unconfirmed promise. Give purchasing ownership of the follow-up so maintenance knows who to ask.
Done, fitted one recorded and spare line still open. Purchasing asked whether it's made yet. Or more accurately, whether the seller has one available; we don't know that it needs making.
