I'd like to check our proposed UR5e nest before buying a stronger clamp. Some steel brackets rock until clamped, others sit fine. Can we find the unwanted contact with a simple bench check?

Have the toolmaker check actual contact points on both sample groups. Clamping harder can hide the catch.

Toolmaker found one ledge touching a formed corner on the rocking samples. He's reviewing the clearance against the part drawing (the stronger clamp has lost its main supporter).
