The missing door survey is here. We had already marked the setter's fixture-removal route and supplied the complete tool, so I thought we were close to a useful answer. The actual handle sticks further into the proposed FR5 brass-blank withdrawal than the old sketch suggested.
The supplier now mentions shorter fingers. I am willing to compare them, but not let a smaller silhouette inherit the original grip and load assumptions. What should stay together in that comparison so we don't fix the door view and discover the blank no longer seats properly at the other end?
Both are in the request. The supplier has only sent an empty outline of the shorter fingers so far, so the proposed contact on the brass blank is still unknown.
Then ask for the actual grip position, contact scheme and complete assembly. Shorter fingers may solve clearance. They have not explained holding or release yet.
And ask who owns the changed setup after installation. A different finger set could alter the program, spare parts and inspection instructions, not merely one drawing.
The integrator owns the application review, Callum. Tool supplier needs to define the proposed assembly first. We have kept the original tool candidate too, with its door conflict recorded.
The integrator is considering a different approach with the original tool alongside the shorter-finger option. Neither route is assessed. The setter's route remains in the common layout, Priya.
Does the new approach alter the connection routing behind the tool? Those bits tend to be the last detail somebody remembers when the outline finally looks clear.
The original assembly includes its rear connections. Their route is being assessed at the alternative approach. The shorter set now has a held-blank drawing, but its load and handling review is still outstanding.
