How do I recover when the spacer is still in the fingers?

Our FR10 restart screen offers the next pocket while still holding the spacer. Where should that uncertainty live?

What did the program last save before the stop, and what was actually checked before it offered the next pocket?

Saved the incremented index before release. No placement check. Found that in the sequence review.

I'd show the interrupted transfer separately from the next-pocket counter, then have the programmer and operator agree how the held part is reconciled before any restart choice

Asked for that review. Merely moving the save later leaves another crash gap.

Yes, you still need an uncertain case; I meant stop the counter deciding for you, not move one line and announce it cured
