The missing door in our FR5 brass-blank layout

Borrowed drawing, and I found the door slides the other way on ours; the layout person hasn't visited the bay yet

That needs a survey before choosing the base position. Otherwise you're correcting the wrong machine, just with a more convincing gripper.

Survey requested, with our setter there; I can supply the current tool assembly model now, including the finger extension that was left out

Which tool revision? Extensions have a habit of changing between attachments.

Revision D, Imran, and I've checked the model and quote both name D; Jonas, did you include the fittings in your outline?

Our survey missed where the setter stood with the fixture trolley. Mark that space too. A robot layout can fit while the changeover no longer does.

Yes, Jamie, including the fittings that stuck out beyond the body. We also marked the service routing as needing a separate check rather than pretending the rigid outline covered it.

Did the survey happen? Interested whether the real door leaves any useful approach on that side.

Survey done, door overlaps the loaded tool on the sketched approach; integrator has suggested rotating the base layout and wants our setter to check the alternative before detailing it

Is that alternative still on the same side of the machine?

And include maintenance in that check. On ours the tempting free space was where a cover had to slide out. Easy to miss when the cover is shut.

Same side but farther along, Robin; Emma, maintenance has marked the cover removal area on the survey, and the candidate position is clear of that area on paper

Does the proposal include withdrawal with an empty tool as well as entry holding the blank? That was the awkward part of our earlier review, despite having less material on the way out.

Paper clearance sounds promising. Still need the whole route.

Setter wants the trolley approach changed before agreeing; Jonas, the integrator's next review includes empty withdrawal, so I'm leaving the arm choice open until both questions are answered

Put the proposed trolley route on that same drawing. Separate sketches made our last access meeting unnecessarily exciting.
