My FR5 first impression left the demonstrator's preparation out

I enjoyed the supervised spacer-block tray-loading trial and wrote an enthusiastic first impression. Reading it back, I sound as though I made the assembly test area ready myself. The demonstrator had done most of that work. I want to correct the account without pretending the pleasant part did not happen.

Name what was prepared before you took over, then describe the part you actually did. Enjoying a prepared trial isn't a false experience.

Which preparation did you actually see, and which did the demonstrator tell you about? That would keep the correction from becoming a second confident account of work you weren't there for.

I saw them arrange the spacer blocks and check the tray before I used the saved job. The tool and program were already prepared when I arrived. I don't know how long that earlier work took.

Then say exactly that. Don't invent preparation time or convert not doing the setup into not being capable of it.

Draft now opens with the prepared tool and saved job. I also changed easy to set up to straightforward to use during this supervised trial. That was the claim I couldn't support.

That catches the important difference. Did the demonstrator stay involved while you ran it too? For example, a prompt you needed is part of the experience, but there's no need to add imagined recovery problems just to balance the good bits.

They stayed beside me and prompted the first tray check. I have included that. I still liked seeing the blocks sorted into the tray, and I have left that reaction in rather than turning the whole paragraph into a disclaimer.

Correction published with the preparation and supervision beside the original impression, not hidden at the bottom. Carla, thanks. I was treating this as a choice between leaving the claim alone and retracting the enjoyment.

Both can stay visible now. A prepared demonstration and an independent setup are different experiences, not good and bad versions of the same one.
