Cannot choose the FR5 while our loading sketch has no gripper

I looked over the aluminium-blank loading sketch with our setter. He immediately asked how the open fingers pass the door, which is awkward because neither the fingers nor the open door appear in the sketch. The fixture point is reachable. I need the tool path and changeover access reviewed before that turns into an arm choice.

Our early layout also used a wrist point as the whole tool. Request the actual assembly and a surveyed opening, then check approach, placement, release and withdrawal together.

I've asked the toolmaker for the assembly and maintenance for the door survey. The setter will review the same layout when those arrive.

Include the intended grip position on the blank. Otherwise the held-part envelope can change without anyone changing the model name.

Did those drawings arrive, Linda? Curious whether the door concern showed up once the missing geometry was included.

Yes. The complete tool clashes at the proposed entry. Toolmaker and integrator are comparing a different finger arrangement, still with the same surveyed door.

The alternative also needs the setter's review. Its fixing positions differ, so I don't want an easier robot approach at the expense of an awkward finger change.

Who includes that change-and-check work in the offer? Worth asking while the alternate fingers are still a proposal rather than fitted hardware.
