Another tooling delivery to review. Our UR5e shell-handling kit has a different adapter from the agreed trial. Its cable exit faces the shell rim. Seller says equivalent, but hasn't shown our samples with it.
Can you see whether the exit direction actually changes the cable route into the handling space? A difference in the plate matters, but I'd describe the assembled clearance question rather than conclude it clashes from the loose adapter.
Only the loose adapter so far. You're right: facing the rim was my reading of the photos, not an assembled clash. I need the replacement shown as a complete tool.
Ask them to include the cable and your actual shell geometry through pickup and release. The trial with the earlier adapter is useful for comparison, but doesn't answer the route on this one.
They sent an assembly drawing with the replacement plate but no cable. I've marked that omission. Mounting comparison is clearer; clearance still isn't.
The missing cable is the question you started with, so keep that request specific. Has anyone also checked whether the new arrangement changes access for a routine cable replacement?
