Build the comparison by item. Required blocks from the confirmed kit contents, counted blocks received, then the difference. Keep the invoice and final message attached so the calculation doesn't silently replace the agreement.
That is the distinction I need. I have a receiving count already. The seller is repeating the invoice quantity as total pieces without addressing the per-kit contents message.
Our receiving photos helped on a different missing-package search. Yours can support the condition and count, but they won't explain what the seller meant by pieces. Keep both questions visible rather than asking the photographs to do all the work.
Ravi, yes, provided incomplete kits stay identifiable. Otherwise someone borrows a block for today's job and the next receiving check appears to find a different shortage.
We have separated complete and incomplete kits. I am not posting the receiving totals here, but the seller has the item-level count and photos against 111 required locating blocks.
That's enough for the forum discussion. Ask the seller to show how their interpretation reconciles with one block per kit. They need to answer the particular line, not simply repeat that the outer box was sealed.
Would purchasing accept a partial supply while the quantity dispute continues? That may be useful, but it should not become acceptance of the seller's interpretation by accident.
The seller has offered additional blocks but fewer than our recorded shortage. No explanation of the remaining difference. Purchasing wants the offer itemised before deciding whether to accept a partial supply.
Then retain the full shortage and show their offered quantity against it. A partial offer is worth considering without rewriting what the original kit description required.

They have now confirmed the original block reference for the partial offer. The balance is still disputed, and no dispatch has been confirmed. Our incomplete kits remain marked as such.
Useful clarification on identity. Leave purchasing's decision on the partial offer separate from confirmation of supply; neither a reference nor an offer puts the blocks on the bench.
