NVIDIA announced the Orin Nano Super kit at $249 on Tuesday. That's the US headline, not what it'll cost me delivered. I want a small vision computer for sorting coloured practice blocks, with the arm kept separate while I get detection working. Would you start on a laptop you already own, or buy the board so you learn the eventual setup from day one? https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/jetson-generative-ai-supercomputer/

Laptop first, for me. Save a camera clip and get repeatable detections. You can find out a lot before buying another computer.

cheers. Recording a clip hadn't occurred to me; I was already shopping for mounts.
