I've been reading about LeRobot and want to try a short data-collection exercise with a class. The result would be a documented set of demonstrations, not a triumphant robot video. I'd give different groups the same task description and compare what they thought it meant. Too dry, or a decent way to show why instructions matter?

Make the disagreement visible. Ask each group to define a successful finish before they compare notes. Otherwise the discussion can become 'our way is obvious'.
