I put the other sensor-cover insert into our planned FR5 fixture. It fitted backwards too. Now what?

Treat insert identity and orientation as separate checks, then tie both to the selected recipe. Ask the tooling designer about preventing the wrong fit, and have the interface review cover what happens when a check fails. A label alone still leaves the student able to install it incorrectly.
