The seller confirmed our FR5 tooling against the fixture drawing, but the delivered adapter has a different suffix and its connector exits on the fixture side. Tooling remains unfitted. I have asked for a comparison with the confirmed revision; equivalent is still the entire answer.
They sent the delivered drawing. Its connector exit is rotated compared with the confirmed one. No combined fixture view, but the difference is now documented rather than just our photograph.
Ask for the complete connection route against the actual fixture, including access to connect and remove it. A rotated outlet might be manageable, but that needs an assessed arrangement rather than a promise about the mounting pattern.
And get the cost and responsibility for their proposed change stated if they want it considered; don't let the sketch make it look like your workshop volunteered.
Rebecca, the original is available. Purchasing has requested that reference as the replacement. We are not accepting the bracket change. The seller is checking the separate shipping arrangement.
Confirm the replacement reference in the shipping agreement and have receiving compare it with the approved drawing. The suffix caused this enquiry, so it deserves a place on that check.
Reference and return arrangements are agreed in writing. There is a dispatch label now, but no collection event. The replacement is not yet received and the installation remains on hold.
