I need an actual access comparison for unloading rectangular polymer blanks with an FR5 beside our enclosed mill. The current sketch reaches the fixture by leaving out the gripper body and open door. What should we establish before choosing the arm, including the work maintenance still needs to do there?
Survey the installed door and fixture, then add the complete proposed tool holding the blank through pickup and loaded withdrawal. Include fittings, services and the return route. Ask maintenance to identify the real tasks around that opening rather than assume a standing space is enough.
Door survey done. The tool drawing is still incomplete behind the fingers. Maintenance has marked the fixture-change route, including the carried fixture, so we aren't treating that space as spare room for the robot.
The complete assembly arrived and the proposed withdrawal clashes at the door. The integrator is comparing another orientation with tooling. We have ruled out this route as drawn, not proved the FR5 wrong for every arrangement.
Keep the revised held-blank orientation and tool loads in that comparison. A turn that clears the door can change the grip or move the blank into another obstruction; it needs more than redrawing the path line.
And retain maintenance's access conditions when the orientation changes, so the new robot route does not quietly spend the space already reserved for the human task.
