Our FR5 locator result stops being fixed at the replacement tray

The locator improved a few supervised sleeve pickups, then the replacement tray produced another miss. I want to retain the useful result without writing fixed over the part we have not explained. What should my update separate?

Keep the observations by identified tray. Were the numbers and conditions comparable?

No. The first tray had the initial runs; the replacement mainly appears at the later miss. Same sleeve type and reviewed job, but I cannot turn that uneven coverage into a reliability comparison.

Then say improved initial observations, followed by a miss after exchange. Retain both trays for the tooling comparison; no success percentage rescued from unequal scraps.

Tooling has compared them with the locator drawing. The replacement frame is correct, but its insert is seated above its intended shoulder. That explains a presentation difference, not yet why it sits there.

Has maintenance inspected that seating interface before anybody adjusts the locator around it?

Maintenance found a trapped packing strip below the removable insert. Removed through the workshop procedure; the insert now reaches the intended shoulder. Repeat transfer and exchange checks are still to run.

Keep the as-found condition in the report. Useful source finding, but the clean seated insert is not evidence that the whole tray-change sequence has passed.

The update now distinguishes the limited first runs, the later miss and the confirmed seating obstruction. It remains a promising locator change awaiting the reviewed return comparison. Fixed can wait its turn.
