Six weeks of a spare cable being nearly sent

Our FR10 arrived. Installed tool cable is fine. Extra cable in the promised kit never turned up. Seller keeps saying next shipment, but won't name one. I want this off my handover list, preferably by receiving the thing. What should purchasing ask for that isn't just 'any news?' again?

Ask them to confirm the outstanding item identifier and give a dispatch date or another proposed remedy. Attach the agreed kit list. The cable already fitted to the robot does not fulfil a separate spare quantity.

Sent. They acknowledged the missing cable but still no date. Purchasing has stopped marking this as delivery in progress. It's a promise in progress, which takes up less shelf space

Have purchasing set a concrete next action with the seller. Another acknowledgement of the same missing item does not resolve it. Keep the spare requirement visible even if they propose a credit.
