I would keep a picture of the packed carton underside with it. The word straight does not tell a new tooling designer which strips need support. We lost that detail between a packaging conversation and a drawing once.

Check the assumptions in the simulation too. A carton drawn as a solid block cannot show the gaps or which parts of its underside bear on the layer below.

Dinesh, agreed. I wouldn't add sheet handling just to protect the first drawing unless the numbers really justify it.

What did your packer say about the exchanges? On ours the walking, not the extra pallet itself, changed the preferred layout.

It doesn't; integrator checked the combined layout and demonstrated withdrawal on the agreed packed sample. We've chosen the straight-row proposal with the closer pallet supply. Smaller count, honest cost. Purchase decision made; commissioning still ahead.
