Puck grip comparison with uneven time on each tray

Our FR10 puck grip looks worse after several pickup edits. I've grouped the observations by tray and setup, with the number of attempts beside each, so we are not comparing one miss with a much longer clean run. What physical checks should sit alongside those groups before another edit?

Tray location, puck seating and the complete finger contacts. Also mounting condition and any replacement history. Your grouped results are useful, but they can't tell you whether a pad is the intended shape.

Are the tray identifiers on the removable tray or its carrier? Our support folder had two setups hiding behind one convenient name.

Luis, on each tray, and the carrier has its own mark. Anil, pad replacement is recorded before the latest edit. Earlier edits predate it, so that may be only part of the story.

Retain the program versions with those groups; do not infer a physical change simply because a new version improved one small run.

Has anyone compared the actual puck seat before the fingers touch it?

Mei's asking the useful physical question. I'd start with an identified puck and the intended tray, then compare the other combinations rather than send maintenance a spreadsheet full of possible causes.

Maintenance found a pad sitting on a retained spacer that isn't in the intended replacement assembly. The tray and puck seating checks have not shown an obvious mismatch. Correction and program review are arranged, not completed.

Will the replacement instructions show that spacer? Not just the finished pad from the top.

And compare the retained program edits against the restored assembly; choosing the oldest file because it is oldest is not verification.

Luis, the toolmaker is clarifying the removal step with a section view. Beth, controls will review the saved versions. We have no restored-transfer results yet; my before-and-after table has an honest empty half.

Please return with those results. Interested whether both trays improve, not just the convenient one.
