Our FR5 turned carton rests on the gap the toolmaker needs

Packing brought the filled carton to the FR5 review and showed where the contents bear on the base. Tooling brought its withdrawal section. Same bit of space wanted by both, although the finished layer picture looks immaculate. I've asked them to mark the conflict on one drawing before we choose fingers. Our short orders also leave partial layers, so I want those in the comparison instead of being handed to the packer as an afterthought.

Give the ordinary short-order stopping points to both teams now. And if they offer fewer cartons per pallet, count the extra exchanges and waiting space with that option. The packer's job doesn't become smaller because the drawing has fewer rectangles.
