Cannot approve the supplied pads against the earlier sample trial

The contact pads delivered with our FR10 have a different surface texture from the pads used in the agreed plastic-sample trial; what evidence should the seller provide before we decide whether the replacement preserves holding, finish and release into our trays?

Ask them to identify the replacement material and geometry, then repeat the agreed handling checks using your samples and tray. A shared mounting pattern will not answer those performance questions.

They supplied a material description but no part reference, and offered a video with a different plastic sample because ours is no longer at their workshop.

Arrange representative samples before the trial. Otherwise you will still be deciding whether results on their convenient sample apply to yours. Have they offered to restore the original pads?

They offered newly made pads to the original drawing instead; tooling is checking that drawing and the sample-trial record before we accept the proposal.

Did tooling find a match? Interested whether you can return to the agreed arrangement without paying for another round of changes around the substitute.
