Our FR10 spare adapter has a credit offer but no replacement price

Our FR10 spare kit never arrived. The fitted adapter is present; its promised additional spare is not. Seller offers a credit. I want a complete replacement comparison before accepting it.

Get a quote against the exact missing assembly and its contents, including delivery and an availability answer. I'd keep the seller's separate-supply option open while you do that; getting a price doesn't commit you to buying the replacement yourself

Local supplier has the fitted assembly reference and missing kit list. Nothing ordered. I have asked the seller whether it will dispatch the complete kit separately instead.

Have both sides identify the actual adapter revision and matching pieces, Farah; a shared description such as spare kit won't show you whether their prices cover the same contents

Local quote covers the identified kit, in stock. Seller says no standalone supply available and repeats its lower credit offer. The shortfall is now a real comparison, not an estimated adapter price.

Is the kit needed for scheduled work or for contingency stock? That affects how long waiting remains useful, without changing what the seller still owes you an answer on.

Contingency stock. I sent the like-for-like quote back and asked for the credit to cover it. No substitute assembly involved.

Then you've given them something concrete to accept or refuse. I wouldn't spend the local money on the assumption they'll improve the credit later, however reasonable the comparison looks

Revised credit received and matched to the missing kit line. It covers the quoted replacement. I have now ordered that identified kit locally; stores knows it is not yet available stock.

Keep the original shortage and replacement order linked in the handover, so the person covering stores doesn't expect both parcels or count the credited kit as still due

Replacement delivered. Stores checked the complete kit contents and references. Original shortage settled by the received credit; local supply booked into stock once. No second parcel expected.

Glad that one reached a cupboard instead of another promise. Does maintenance have the spare's actual location as well as the purchase closure?
