The UR5e packing quote now includes the arm, gripper and one training session; fixtures, guarding and the next carton changeover are still blank, so how do I compare it without treating blank as free?
Separate confirmed prices, stated allowances and unpriced scope. Give each unknown an owner and the information needed to price it. Both suppliers should describe the same packing tasks, including preparation and changeover, before their totals are compared.
Name the guide variants and operator tasks in the enquiry. Ask what the session enables your staff to do, who attends and what further support is excluded. One session alone does not describe the handover.
Both enquiries now name our two regular kit variants and both shifts; the total is still provisional, but at least the missing guide work has a person beside it.
Has that person agreed to supply the work within a stated allowance, or are they only responsible for obtaining the missing estimate? Keep those roles distinct when you circulate the total.
