Can this delivered UR5e interface meet the fixture drawing we agreed?

The UR5e configuration our Chinese seller confirmed used my fixture drawing. What arrived has a different suffix and a visibly different gripper-plate interface. Forty-five days later I have only an equivalence assurance, no comparison. Tooling is unfitted; how should I frame the choice between this arrangement and the one confirmed?

Keep both options in the request: a documented compatibility comparison for the delivered arrangement, and availability of the configuration they originally confirmed.

Which physical interface features differ? The suffix alone won't explain the fit.

Mark those features on photos beside the agreed drawing. Leave unmeasured dimensions labelled unknown.

The mounting-plate outline and connection position visibly differ. I have photos and the confirmed drawing, but no delivered-revision drawing. I will not infer all its dimensions from the suffix; the comparison needs to come from identified hardware.

Include how a person connects and services that interface, not only whether the tool can be bolted on. A shifted connection can change access even where the mounting pattern turns out compatible.

Has the seller identified what that suffix means for this delivered unit, rather than told you all variants are equivalent?

Give the toolmaker both arrangements to assess against your fixture. We have had a locating problem where the drawing everyone trusted described an older contact; a familiar-looking interface can still carry a different assumption into the new setup.

Different doesn't automatically mean unsuitable. It means the existing approval doesn't settle this delivered configuration.

Who will support the changed arrangement afterwards if you accept it, including which plate and connection details belong in the spare instructions?

I would keep the installation hold visible for planning. The person booking the installer may see a delivered arm and assume only assembly time remains, when the interface choice is still undecided.

Seller hasn't explained the suffix for this unit. I have requested its interface drawing and the technical comparison, plus availability of the confirmed arrangement. Our toolmaker will review any answer; nothing is scheduled for fitting.

In my adapter discussion, supply of the original was offered for extra money, so keep any such proposal separate from agreeing that the substitute meets your fixture requirements.

Caleb, has Imran received an extra-charge offer here? Don't let your case become his order status.

No, he hasn't reported one; I meant to flag how to record a possible offer, not suggest that this seller has made it.

The service-access point is still worth asking the toolmaker to include when drawings arrive. It can remain an open requirement now; nobody needs to guess a new bracket design from these photographs.

Correct, no price proposal here. Still waiting for the drawing and comparison. Thanks for raising service access, Beatrice; I've included it in the toolmaker's review scope alongside mounting and the resulting tool position.

Then status stays unassessed interface, not failed fit or accepted equivalent. Both would outrun the evidence.
