Get them on one drawing first. Could you put the actual loaded carton construction over the proposed lower layer, with the fingers drawn where they open? Cheap way to make the disagreement visible.
14 pointsDone. Packaging dislikes the unsupported end of the rotated carton. Tooling says narrowing that gap traps the fingers. Both are now pointing at the same bit.
4 pointsCould a different layer count or orientation leave that end supported? I'd ask before getting attached to this exact pattern, even if it loses a few cartons.
8 pointsDoes dispatch have a minimum quantity per pallet, or is the current count just convenient?
