Which FR5 interface did the seller compare with our confirmed fixture drawing?

Our confirmed FR5 drawing and delivered interface differ around the adapter. Seller says equivalent. Where is the actual comparison? Tooling remains unfitted.

Give the installer the full delivered labels, interface photographs and the exact drawing confirmed before purchase. Ask the seller to identify the delivered assembly and compare the actual mounting stack, not explain a suffix in isolation.

Confirmed assembly is C. Delivered paperwork says D and shows an extra spacer plate. Installer has both sets.

Then the plate is the concrete discrepancy to answer. Don't let the label discussion swallow it. Has the seller compared the tool position and fittings in those two complete assemblies?

They admit D changes the tool position. They offer a revised fixture layout or the original C adapter set.

Ask for the original set's actual availability and replacement terms before spending your own time redesigning a fixture they confirmed before purchase

Original set is in stock according to dispatch. Seller agrees to replace D; I want the actual contents confirmed.

Include the specified fasteners and fittings. A plate arriving on its own can leave the installer holding two incomplete arrangements and being asked to make one work. Nobody should have to guess which leftovers belong.

We once accepted a small adapter change in principle before anyone priced the fixture work it triggered. The change itself was manageable; the surprise was that everyone had assigned the design, machining and checking to somebody else. Sarah has a replacement option here. I'd finish comparing that before volunteering the toolroom for another job.

Anil, did that get spotted before parts were made, or when the bill came back?

Before manufacture. Installer's comparison named the changed contacts, then the toolroom asked who was paying for them. Awkward meeting, useful question. We priced and accepted that separate change; I am not suggesting Sarah should accept hers.

Replacement set collected. Installer checked the marked contents list against C before dispatch; it includes fasteners and fittings.

Who pays replacement freight, return freight and the installer's comparison? Those belong in the agreement as well

Seller accepted both freight costs. Installer comparison is covered by our existing purchase scope. Written agreement predates collection.

Has the replacement actually arrived yet? The contents list sounds promising, but I'm waiting for your receiver's version.

Keep D identified while it waits for return. A loose extra plate can become the mysterious spare someone reaches for later, particularly if it ends up in the same tray as C.

Arrived. Stores and installer checked C's components and references. D is kept together for return, not mixed into spares.

Has the seller provided the agreed return instruction for D?

Does the receiving check also identify the complete confirmed assembly drawing, Sarah? I want the next person to find C and its specified parts without reconstructing this from the delivery labels.

Yes, drawing C and its parts list are on the receipt. Daniel, the return instruction is here too.

Installer has now checked the replacement against our original fixture arrangement, including mounting and fittings. It matches C; no fixture relocation needed. Wrong set returned under the agreed collection. Supply mismatch closed, thanks all.
