our FR5 exchange sketch leaves the open fingers outside the discussion

I'm reviewing an FR5 steel-blank exchange proposal and the drawing shows a bare wrist reaching the fixture, while the actual door and loaded gripper are missing; I'd like a cheap first check of the available space before we commission the detailed layout.

A full-size loaded-tool outline helped us reject a bad doorway approach. You'll still need the proper route review, but the outline can show an obvious clash without buying anything fancy.

We tried that against the measured doorway with the machine stopped for the layout check, and the tool body overlaps the handle during the proposed turn; the supplier is looking at a different base position.

Did they include the open fingers coming back from placement? Easy to get excited about the loaded outline and forget the tool has to come out again.

Not yet, thanks Luca; I've requested both loaded and open-tool routes in the revised review, with the door at its real stop rather than an ideal opening angle.
