Our proposed FR5 sensor-bracket nest has pins, bottom supports and a close outside wall. Bench samples settle differently, although the CAD version is admirably obedient. Tooling suggested a stronger clamp. I'd like the intended locating contacts explained first, or rather which of those contacts are meant to leave clearance.
Ask the designer to mark locating faces versus supports and clearance. I can't tell from your list which contacts are fighting, but more clamp force sounds premature.
Have the designer compare identified brackets from the intended revision, including their condition. It would be unfortunate to redesign the nest around one burr with excellent CAD manners.
They are the right revision but not individually measured yet. I've asked quality to identify conforming examples while the designer explains the wall. Stronger clamp remains unapproved.
That gives purchasing a sensible reason to wait. Please post whether the wall was meant to touch; I'm interested in that answer before another clamp quote arrives.
