I'm reviewing our planned loading individual sheet panels into a locating tray with Universal Robots UR5e and a thin coated steel panel in a thin-sheet assembly workshop. The proposed vacuum tool has a bench report confirming a seal, but the panels come from a stack.
My remaining questions concern support during handling and confirmation that only one panel is delivered.
@TheoAli0236 My report describes a supported flat sample, without an assessment of the complete panel geometry. It also leaves the represented protective-film condition unspecified.
Send the panel drawing and stack specification to your tooling specialist. Ask for distributed support and a separate single-panel confirmation proposal.
Spreading contact can reduce unsupported spans, so it's a reasonable layout to compare. Your drawing should show the edges that need controlled placement.
