Why am I approving carton rectangles when the support direction matters?

I've got an FR10 dispatch-pallet drawing with a tidy alternating pattern. The labelled cartons need support in a preferred direction, and rotation leaves some bearing areas above gaps. Where do I start a joint packaging and tooling review? Separate approvals are getting us nowhere.

I'd mark the actual bearing areas on a copy of the layer drawing first. Cheap enough, and packaging can show which gaps matter before the tool designer spends time finding access around the wrong arrangement.
