The supplied FR10 contact pads have a different profile from the ones used in our plastic-sample trial. Seller says equivalent, but the trial was the reason we agreed to that tooling. I have paused fitting it. What would you ask them to demonstrate before considering the substitute?
Ask for the two pad arrangements identified side by side, then your intended pickup, transfer and release with the delivered one; include the sample condition before and after.
Sent that request, Anika. The original clip has a clear pad view and the actual tray, so I can point to what changed. Their new photo only shows loose pads on a desk.
Keep the original-pad supply option open too, Jonas, otherwise the discussion can quietly turn into your job to redesign the trial around what arrived.
Asked whether they can supply the confirmed pair. No answer yet. They offered a bench grip test of the substitute, which still leaves release into our tray unshown.
A bench check can be useful, but keep the full transfer and release as outstanding work rather than allowing the smaller test to replace the agreed comparison.
Agreed. Installer has both references and the outstanding task list. No substitute accepted and no original-pair dispatch promised. We are still deciding between real options, assuming they send any.
Did either answer arrive, Jonas? In particular, a proper original-pair availability answer would let you compare routes instead of discussing the replacement indefinitely.
