220 UR5e kit bags contain 204 locating blocks

Stores counted 220 accessory bags for our UR5e handling jobs. Only 204 contain the locating block listed in each kit. Seller says 220 means pieces now, despite the invoice saying kits and their final confirmation listing the contents. We have kept the empty positions visible in the receiving count. I want the sixteen missing blocks supplied, not another photograph of all the bags together.

Send the count by component beside the confirmed kit contents. Make the sixteen incomplete kits explicit, so their total bag count cannot stand in for the missing blocks.

Sent. They answered that the bags include other accessories, which we know. The block is the only short component; everything else matches 220 kits.

Did stores check for blocks packed loose elsewhere in the outer box, including under the dividers? Worth excluding that before the discussion stays entirely about the invoice wording.

Yes, Harish. Two people checked the packing and dividers. No loose blocks. We photographed the full receiving arrangement before putting the complete kits away.

Is there a separate parcel for those sixteen in their dispatch list?

Ask which accepted document changed kits into individual pieces. They are describing a different order after delivery.

Robin's question belongs with purchasing. Stores can keep the physical count clear without having to settle the commercial wording themselves.

Anil, dispatch lists only this box. Robin, purchasing asked them to identify a changed confirmation. They sent the original again, still listing a block in each kit.

Then have them answer the actual shortage using that same block reference. A vaguely equivalent block could create another kit problem when it reaches the fixture.

Have they at least acknowledged sixteen missing blocks yet?

Yes. Their sales manager acknowledges the sixteen now and has asked packing to prepare them. No parcel reference yet. The incomplete kits remain separate.

Good. Prepared and sent still need different boxes on the progress note.

Give receiving the confirmed reference and shortage count before the parcel arrives. They can close sixteen specific incomplete kits after checking the blocks, rather than receiving miscellaneous spares.

They have the check. Seller sent a photo of sixteen blocks with the correct reference on the packing sheet. Purchasing has asked for collection information; we are not calling the shortage closed.

Does the photo identify the actual block marking as well as the sheet?

The marking is readable on the closer photo now. Carrier collection has also appeared. I have passed the reference to our receiving person and kept the expected sixteen against the open shortage.

Thanks for checking the marking. Will stores use the same matching check as the original 204, not just count the new pieces?

They should. The delivered reference and condition need to match before the bags become complete kits.

Parcel arrived. Stores checked sixteen blocks for identity and condition using the original receiving check, then matched them to the incomplete kits. All 220 ordered kits are complete now.

Purchasing has closed the shortage against those receiving results. Thanks, Grace, the component count kept this from becoming an endless argument about how many bags we owned.
