Cannot reconcile 203 housings with the FR5 screen's growing total

I counted the identified housings before looking at our FR5 summary, which was fortunate because the summary had already exceeded the batch of 203. Reviewed retries are appearing as more finished parts after restart. I want the operator to see the current disposition of each housing without losing the unsuccessful checks underneath it. The awkward one is a pass that quality later withdraws: our current screen happily leaves it in the accepted total. Who should own that change in the handover?

Quality owns disposition. Software must retain who changed it, and stop counting the withdrawn pass.

Does each retry retain the housing identity, or does the screen only have a new inspection number to work with?

Nora, make the changed status obvious to the packer too. A total dropping by one won't tell me which housing came back under review, especially if I've already put it with the accepted ones.

Agreed. Item-level change, not a quiet counter correction.

PriyaBennett, the housing IDs survive the retries. PriyaCarter, quality wants a held-item list with the reason and physical location, including anything removed from accepted stock. We have a paper list for this batch while the screen is corrected.

That's usable. Put the item ID on the list first, not somewhere after four inspection references. I want to find the housing before I read its life story.

The reconciliation is 194 accepted, six held and three rejected, all 203 accounted for. The developer's first replay still counted a duplicated old pass on one held housing. We caught that by checking the held list against the total, not only the total against the batch size.

Replay an older pass after the withdrawal too. Arrival order mustn't reinstate it.

And let quality review the proposed current disposition before that corrected summary becomes the working view; I would not infer it from the last timestamp alone

Installed fix checked with quality and the shift lead. Duplicate pass, delayed old pass after withdrawal, and restart all leave the agreed 194/6/3 dispositions intact. We also withdrew and restored an acceptance in the test batch and checked the item history and held list. PriyaCarter's ID-first layout made the handover much less fiddly. The original 203-item batch is reconciled; held parts remain held.
