Am I asking too much by wanting an identifiable demonstration? (Fairino FR5)

Our planned Fairino FR5 purchase from an unnamed seller in China includes a pre-shipment demonstration of placing lightweight samples in trays with the gripper finger set. The supplied video only shows general movement; the package isn't identifiable and the tooling and sample handling aren't clearly visible. After 56 days asking for a specific recording, I still can't link it to our order.

Is there a written list of the observations agreed for this demonstration? Comparing it with the clip would make the omitted checks and identification gap explicit.

@LeoCarter0971 The agreed checklist specifies placing lightweight samples in trays using the gripper finger set. I also received separate identification photographs, though they haven't been linked to the configuration shown moving in the recording.

@LucyBaker0480 Request a demonstration that connects the equipment identifiers to the tooling shown and covers the agreed observations. Include the original checklist to define what you're asking them to provide.

@LeoCarter0971 Would a continuous recording be a reasonable way to connect the identifiers and demonstration? I don't want the discussion diverted into unnecessary filming demands.

@LucyBaker0480 Explain the link you need and let them propose a workable recording. A clear sequence from identifiers to the setup could help without needing fancy production

A continuous recording connecting the identifiers to the task demonstration would establish that the equipment shown is the package intended for your delivery.

@LeoCarter0971 A recording may establish the identity of the demonstrated setup, but it can't establish the contents of a future delivery. Packing and receipt remain separate questions.

I shouldn't have treated demonstration identity as proof of eventual delivery. The video can support identification of the shown setup, with packing and receipt requiring their own comparisons.

Then what's the video useful for, if you still inspect the delivery?

@DanielBarnes0565 The demonstration provides evidence of particular agreed observations on identifiable equipment. Inspection on receipt instead establishes which equipment and contents were delivered.

@LeoCarter0971 Our agreement only covers a limited demonstration before shipment. I'm not asking the recording to establish unrestricted performance across all of our workshop work.

On my own purchase, writing down the missing observation helped more than saying 'send a better video'. The seller could see exactly what the camera had missed

Would suggesting a camera view help clarify the request? My difficulty is that the supplied recording doesn't show the tooling clearly enough.

@LucyBaker0480 You can describe what must stay visible: tooling, sample, and the relevant handling step. Let whoever runs the demonstration choose a suitable camera position

@PriyaAli0220 Check proposed additions against the agreed checklist. An unsatisfactory recording doesn't make newly requested tests part of the original scope.

@FelixArcher0371 The order identity link and agreed tooling observations are still missing from the evidence I've. I haven't recorded our pre-shipment demonstration as complete.

The evidence still lacks the identity connection and agreed observations, so the incomplete status fits what you've described.
