How do I keep fixture-change access in our FR5 base review?

Yes. They need the trolley square to the opening, not parked at an angle as the supplier suggested.

How did the supplier check that angled suggestion?

They didn't see the changeover. Setter has explained why it doesn't work. We're putting the required trolley position on the next layout.

Include how often that change happens and who does it, so moving the trolley stops looking like a harmless little inconvenience on the cost comparison.

Several changes across a short-batch day. Two setters cover it. That frequency is now beside the access requirement.

Has the robot supplier returned any base alternative that leaves the required trolley space?

Two provisional positions returned. Neither has the final gripper body in it yet. I've asked for that before anyone calls either position workable.

Can the setters at least review those footprints while the tool details are pending?

Use the actual trolley for that early review. In a teaching exercise we moved a rectangle on the plan and forgot the person steering it. The trolley fitted. The person had apparently been deleted from the workforce.

Daniel, did including the person change your chosen side of the machine, or just the clearance allowance?

Hana, the setters reviewed both footprints with the trolley. One blocks their turning space and is ruled out. Daniel, operator position was included, which made that obvious.

Ravi, we changed sides in that exercise. Increasing the gap on the original side just moved the clash into the next aisle. Different layout from Emma's, but it stopped us fixing one rectangle at a time.

Remaining position now has the complete proposed tool in the model. Supplier still owes the loaded withdrawal and empty-return review. No stand order.

When that comes back, will the setters see the same final arrangement again? Worth checking nothing moved into their space while the tool route was being resolved.
