The PLC sends a brief inspection request and sometimes our polling application sees nothing. The training cell's ordinary job interface has no clear owner for clearing it, either. Safety functions are separate. I'm asking both program owners to settle the exchange before we teach people to keep pressing request.

Agree retained request and acknowledgement states, ownership and clearing rules. Include timeout, duplicate and restart cases in the interface review.
