I can't sign off another offset for a leaning block

I want the FR10 tool checked because a spacer block now leans as the jaws close, on a different bench from my damaged-tray-insert case; repeated point changes haven't explained it and I'm not comfortable approving another one.

Have maintenance look at the fingers and what sits behind them with the station isolated, then compare the tray seating before chasing more coordinates.

Maintenance is comparing the fitted pads with the drawing, the tray sits against its locators but we haven't measured repeat seating yet.

Did someone change pads recently?

Yes, one pad replaced during the last service, though the drawing only calls them a matched pair and doesn't identify the individual spare.

Ask stores which spare they issued, the fit might look right while the thickness differs.

Was the lean there before the pad change, Farah, or are the old point edits from another issue?

Some edits predate it, so I can't blame every past miss on this pad; the visible lean was first noted after the service.

Had mixed pads before. Compare the actual parts, not the bag label.

They are different thicknesses despite the same bag description, maintenance has set them aside and is checking the approved replacement pair with the toolmaker.

Did the toolmaker identify the right pair yet?

And check that the tray is fully down, since you have older edits to explain. Our replacement clamp once looked shut while it held the tray off its seat. I wouldn't let the pad finding erase that part of your history.

Right pair identified. Repeat tray seating is being checked too, thank you, the older edits are staying in the investigation rather than being labelled explained.

How does it sit with the corrected pads?

Farah, are you planning to compare the old and current point sets before the transfer trial?

Integrator is doing that comparison now; maintenance reports square static contact with the correct pads and repeatable tray seating, but the transfer trial hasn't happened yet.

Label the correct spare bins before somebody repeats the pad mix.
